Why Bally's:
Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence, currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, interactive gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.

With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800 hotel rooms. Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. ("Queen"), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally's jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally's portfolio. Bally's will also become the successor of Queen's significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

The Lead Shipping and Receiving Agent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials, supplies, and products. This position provides leadership to the shipping/receiving team, maintains inventory accuracy, ensures compliance with company procedures, and supports department goals through strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and actively participate in daily shipping and receiving operations, including unloading, inspecting, verifying, and storing incoming shipments.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately packaged, labeled, documented, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Lead, train, and support shipping and receiving team members; provide guidance, coaching, and daily task assignments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and other departments to ensure proper supply flow.
  • Ensure all materials are safely and properly handled, stored, and distributed according to company policies.
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents, logs, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist management in implementing more efficient workflows.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling tools (training provided if needed).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in the supervisor's absence.


Competencies:



  • High School Diploma/GED, required; additional logistics or warehouse training a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage completing priorities.
  • Proficient with inventory management systems and basic computer applications (such as Excel, Shipping Software).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written



Work Environment:

An office environment. May also include a casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke and varied temperatures. Use of elevator and stairs. May include a boat and/or floating barge. An outdoor environment, exposed to varied weather conditions. A restaurant environment with varied noise levels, variable temperatures, wet areas, and smoke. A kitchen environment with a variety of workstations and storage areas, exposed to varied temperatures, smoke, steam, noise, and wet areas. May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varied noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low-level lights.

Target Wage:

$17.00 / hour; Based on experience
