As a Security Officer - Entry Control Monitor in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and help maintain orderly entry and exit points. You will stay visible, conduct routine rounds nearby, document activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing guests, employees and/or vendors to the appropriate locations.
• Screen vehicles and deliveries as assigned by checking bills of lading and scheduled appointments, documenting inbound and outbound traffic, and coordinating with site personnel for dock and yard access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing reports and assisting with scene control until relieved.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions and report maintenance and/or operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
