Security Officer - Healthcare Center Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol in Garfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and service-focused communication, document observations, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting clinical staff with access control and crowd management as directed by site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and assist with visitor directions and wayfinding in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders, and follow chain-of-command protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
