Extrusion Tooling Technician

Marvin Composites in Fargo, ND, is hiring an Extrusion Tooling Technician to support our Extrusion plant.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Extrusion dies, calibrators, and templates to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You'll partner closely with process support and production teams to support new product launches and existing tooling. This includes cleaning, repair, and preventative maintenance of existing tooling to help facilitate the trial and production schedules. If you enjoy hands-on work, have a strong attention to detail, and are interested in working with CNC equipment and tooling in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

* Proactively clean, maintain, polish, and prepare tools as needed
* Set priorities based on production needs
* Disassembles, cleans, pre-assembles, inspects, tooling prior to scheduled runs. Demonstrates tooling troubleshooting skills
* Manages timetables for replacement dies/parts and shipments of dies to minimize impact on production
* Manages inventory of Tool & Die parts and consumables for extrusion tooling
* Ability to provide training to associates on proper tooling maintenance, die cleaning, assembly, and operation

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM

* Two or more years of relevant work experience
* Experience with extrusion, preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively with production and other cross-functional teams
