Director, Marketing Science - (job location is Chicago, IL; employer is Omnicom Media Group Holdings, Inc. (d/b/a Annalect Group) - Manage a team of managers and analysts in multi-touch digital attribution, addressable attribution, and segmentation analyses for Fortune 500 companies, performing these specific duties: Employ econometric and multivariate modeling and/or stochastic modeling. Oversee consulting engagements with clients and agency teams. Translate data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights by leveraging advanced analytics tactics combined with Gen AI interpretation, and working with Clean Room environments such as Ads Data Hub, Amazon Marketing Cloud and their respective APIs. Collaborate with marketing partners and strategy teams to understand business and marketing objectives and develop analytics approaches to meet those objectives. Present to clients, with the support of the functional specialists, the results of analyses and research projects in a clear and insightful narrative, digestible by a lay person. Lead the transformation and interpretation of analysis results into an understanding of consumer and marketplace behaviors, particularly those that most impact business and marketing goals. Evaluate data and research/analytics vendors for clients. Assist with the development and execution of the ad measurement plan. Oversee team performance, development and training through responsibilities as a People Manager and as an expert in analytics. Requirements: Master’s in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or Mathematics, plus 2 years of experience in offered position or a marketing research or marketing science position at a media agency or marketing analytics/research firm. All required experience must have included building, reviewing and publishing multitouch attribution models (MTA) and marketing mix models (MMM); performing econometric analysis; coding in R, RShiny, Python and SQL; analyzing and evaluating data sourced from market research (custom survey research, advertising testing/tracking, or new product research) and behavioral data sources and syndicated research resources/tools (ad-tech analytics, cookie tracking, and identity resolution); leveraging understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of Walled Garden Clean Rooms (Meta, Google, Amazon); and presenting and communicating complex ideas (including machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, data-driven insights and results of data analyses and specific marketing data research projects) to technical and nontechnical audiences and addressing questions. #LI-DNI.
