Description

Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Billing Manager in Parsippany, NJ. This is a hybrid role requiring two days in our corporate office. The Billing Manager is responsible for collaborating with Customer Experience, Client Relations, Implementation, Expense Management, Cash Applications, Collections, General Accounting and Resale Accounting to drive best practices, internal control enhancements for revenue recognition and timely invoicing of expenses paid on behalf of our clients.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Performs accounts receivable billing operations for a specific list of clients and manages the billing coordinators to perform the same. Reviews the work of the coordinators to ensures timely and accurate invoicing to clients.


  • Collaborates with the implementation team to ensure new clients are properly set up in the company's billing system. Ensures custom invoicing requirements are satisfied and triggers with the system are working and fully tested prior to client go-live dates.


  • Responsible for international and domestic fee billing as well as fee corrections.


  • Manages IT related projects such as special billing requests and formats and the testing of system enhancements and upgrades.


  • Partners with Collections and Cash Applications to resolve issues.


  • Works with CSDs to help develop solutions for client needs.


  • Assists client auditors and Weichert Workforce Mobility external auditors with audit requests.


  • Assists in the training of new personnel.


  • Coordinates systems integration projects and helps to identify and implement process improvements.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Education, Certification, and License Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred


Experience



  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of accounts receivable experience
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Experience with accounts receivable and billing and relevant automated systems, preferably from within the relocation management industry


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Working knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, clients and client prospects
  • Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations and works with others towards an agreement
  • Ability to efficiently organize work, supervise and set priorities
  • Considerable workflow and analytical skills
  • Proficient in both written and verbal skills as well as formal presentation skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, and statistical analysis
  • Ability to think logically, strategically or abstractly
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems, think, read and listen critically
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information in order to identify solutions and make sound recommendations


The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant skills, education, work experience, job location/geographic region, and/or certifications.
