PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Surveyor at Worley, you will contribute to the delivery of innovative and sustainable solutions across energy, chemicals, and resources projects. You will play a critical role in providing accurate survey data, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with engineering and construction requirements. Your expertise will help bridge traditional energy operations with the transition to more sustainable sources, ensuring we deliver value for our customers while contributing to a more sustainable future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform precise field surveys to capture, verify, and interpret data required for engineering design, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.

* Ensure accuracy and quality of survey results in alignment with Worley's technical standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.

* Support project teams by providing timely survey data, maps, and reports that enable effective decision-making throughout all stages of a project lifecycle.

* Collaborate with engineers, designers, construction personnel, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that support project objectives and sustainability outcomes.

* Apply advanced knowledge of survey instruments, technologies, and digital tools to improve data collection, efficiency, and safety.

* Monitor and maintain survey equipment, ensuring proper calibration and operational readiness.

* Support safe project delivery by upholding Worley's health, safety, and environmental standards in all survey-related activities.

* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize survey methods, workflows, and data integration practices.

* Act as a trusted technical partner to internal teams and customers, ensuring transparency, integrity, and collaboration in all survey deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET

* Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent work experience in a surveyor role within engineering, construction, or resources industries.

* Demonstrated proficiency in modern survey instruments and technologies, including GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, 3D laser scanning, and digital data management platforms.

* Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex spatial data with accuracy and clarity.

* Knowledge of engineering and construction processes, with the ability to apply survey data to support design, installation, and commissioning.

* Familiarity with geospatial software applications such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools.

* Commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices, ensuring survey operations are conducted in alignment with Worley's safety culture.

* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt methods to diverse terrain, environmental conditions, and project challenges.

* Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage constructively with colleagues, contractors, and customers.

* A mindset aligned with Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world, with the flexibility to support projects across traditional and renewable energy sectors.
