Solutions Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite required) located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of a merchant services Healthcare Payment solutions platform
• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements
• Record and document the design
• Partner with Tech/Business product owners and the architecture team for direction

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of professional experience
• Primary skill: C#
• Secondary skill: .Net Core
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Java, Spring Boot, AWS and Azure
• Knowledge in the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Ruby, Rails, AWS - ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS, Dynamo DB, ElastaCache, S3, EC2, Docker, Postgresql, Redis, REST, SOAP, SAML OAUTH2, Terraform
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence
• Ability to design the system with little direction or guidance
• Excellent analytical and logical skills
• Self-starter with thought leadership
• Ability to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions
• Ability to multi-task and work independently

Desired skills:

• Payments or Banking background is highly preferred
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Ruby tools
• Certified Java, AWS and Azure Architect is highly preferred
