Summary

The Digital Services Developer is a key member of the Corporate Strategic Services Digital Services team and plays a critical role in developing and integrating PlayCore's sales and marketing technology stack across PlayCore's family of brands.

This role is responsible for the technical development, implementation, standardization, and integration of HubSpot and related sales and marketing platforms. The Digital Services Developer builds scalable, repeatable solutions aligned with PlayCore's Digital Services Center of Excellence, extending platform capabilities through custom development while ensuring consistent implementation across brands. This role includes full stack development responsibilities across front-end (CMS/web), back-end integrations, and middleware/API layers.

The Digital Services Developer partners closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that support PlayCore's Digital Integrations Roadmap.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Platform Development and Integrations



  • Design and implement scalable API integrations, including one-way and two-way integrations across HubSpot, CRM systems, ERP platforms, marketing technologies, and iPaaS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain custom code solutions, including workflow extensions, webhooks, middleware services, and automation scripts supporting advanced business processes.
  • Build and maintain data synchronization processes and integration patterns to ensure reliable, consistent data flow across systems.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of PlayCore's sales and marketing technology architecture, aligning solutions to integration standards, data governance, and scalability requirements.
  • Evaluate technical requirements, system dependencies, and integration feasibility during discovery and planning phases.
  • Translate solution architecture into technical implementation plans in collaboration with the Digital Services team.


Platform Configuration and Automation



  • Configure and implement HubSpot capabilities across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Data Hub.
  • Build and maintain workflows, lifecycle stage automation, lead routing logic, and business process automation aligned with PlayCore's Lead Management Playbook.
  • Configure objects, properties, pipelines, and permissions to support scalable and standardized sales and marketing processes.
  • Develop and maintain forms, lead capture processes, and routing mechanisms supporting demand generation and sales execution.
  • Build reporting dashboards and analytics tools to support performance tracking and leadership visibility.
  • Implement and enforce standardized configuration patterns across brands to support governance, scalability, and consistency.


CMS and Front-End Development



  • Develop and maintain HubSpot CMS templates, modules, and custom functionality using HubL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Support development and optimization of HubSpot-hosted websites, landing pages, and web applications.
  • Build reusable CMS components and front-end frameworks to enable scalable website implementations across brands.
  • Ensure websites align with platform standards, performance expectations, and integration requirements.
  • Optimize website performance, page load speed, technical SEO, and structured content implementation to improve discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.


Platform Optimization and Continuous Improvement



  • Maintain and optimize existing platform implementations to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify and implement improvements in automation, data structure, and system performance.
  • Monitor data quality, data integrity, and synchronization reliability across integrated systems.
  • Support platform enhancements, updates, and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve.
  • Ensure ongoing alignment with Digital Services governance standards and integration architecture.


Brand Support



  • Provide technical guidance and support to brands implementing HubSpot and related technologies.
  • Review and validate brand-level configurations to ensure alignment with PlayCore standards and best practices.
  • Support platform adoption through troubleshooting, documentation, and technical enablement.
  • Conduct periodic audits of platform implementations to ensure continued alignment with governance, data standards, and platform updates.

Education and/or Experience



  • 4-7+ years of experience in HubSpot development, revenue platform engineering, or similar technical roles.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing system integrations across CRM, ERP, marketing automation, and related platforms.
  • Experience developing custom solutions using APIs, webhooks, and middleware services.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to platform architecture, data models, and integration strategies.
  • Experience with HubSpot CMS development and/or modern web development frameworks preferred.
  • HubSpot certifications (Marketing, Sales, CMS for Developers, Revenue Operations) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).



Skills and Qualifications

Technical/Full Stack Development



  • Experience developing across front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end environments (Node.js, Python, or similar).
  • Strong experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration frameworks.
  • Experience designing and building scalable integrations and middleware solutions.
  • Experience developing HubSpot CMS templates, modules, and custom functionality.
  • Experience implementing automation logic and extending platform capabilities through custom development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Understanding of application architecture, hosting environments, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot platform capabilities across Marketing, Sales, Service, Data, and Content Hub.
