Job Description

The Wine & Spirits Pricing Analyst is responsible for the strategic execution and ongoing management of pricing for Odom's wine and spirits portfolio across all divisions. This role serves as the primary owner of wine and spirits pricing, ensuring pricing accuracy, margin integrity, and consistent application of pricing strategy across markets. The analyst partners crossfunctionally with suppliers, Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Pricing leadership to translate complex pricing data into actionable insights, support portfolio growth, and manage the increased operational demands of enterprise pricing systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Own and manage assigned wine and spirits supplier portfolios to ensure margin and gross profit targets are achieved and consistently communicated across all divisions and operating companies
  • Partner crossfunctionally with Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, Operations, and suppliers to ensure effective execution of pricing strategies and market alignment that supports margin and revenue growth
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve pricing models, analytical tools, and databases to support accurate, datadriven pricing decisions
  • Apply advanced analytical expertise in pricing analysis, market research, and financial modeling to support strategic and operational pricing initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing and ad hoc pricing analyses, including price elasticity, competitive benchmarking, product and pricing segmentation, and lift analysis.
  • Evaluate product cost structures to validate accuracy and proactively identify risks or discrepancies impacting margin and gross profit performance
  • Interpret complex pricing and performance data into clear and actionable insights for leadership to support SKU profitability, assortment strategy, and product mix optimization
  • Communicate pricing insights, risks, and opportunities effectively to leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Maintain a proactive, solutionsoriented approach to margin maintenance and growth, identifying improvement opportunities before issues arise
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolving, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities while managing a high volume of daily pricing requests and email communications
  • Maintain working knowledge of company pricing policies and applicable state and federal pricing regulations to ensure compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Pricing team objectives and enterprise initiatives


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical modeling; experience with pricing tools and databases preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
  • Experience in beverage alcohol, CPG, wholesale distribution, or pricing analytics
  • Familiarity with enterprise pricing or ERP systems
  • Experience working crossfunctionally with Sales, Operations, and Revenue Management
