Title: Senior Technology Analyst
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 6 Months
Day to Day
Serve as a subject matter expert across public and private cloud platforms, contributing to design, build, integration, administration, and troubleshooting activities
Collaborate closely with application teams, infrastructure partners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient cloud solutions
Build, enhance, and maintain cloud-native services using AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux-based platforms
Apply strong technical judgment to solve complex problems while balancing security, performance, and operational excellence
Gather, refine, and translate business and technical requirements into actionable cloud solutions
Leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities and developer experience
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and team-first support
REQUIRED technologies:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Cloud (core services, networking, security, and compute)
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) on-prem and/or managed offerings
Kubernetes and modern containerization practices for application deployment and operations
- Linux-based operating systems with strong command-line proficiency
PREFERRED/NICE TO HAVE technologies
GitOps-based workflows and configuration management practices
CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, test, and deployment activities
Familiarity with DevOps and Agile/Scrum delivery models
Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) used to improve reliability and efficiency
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools
- Enterprise application development experience
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job related field or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Required Work Experience:
- 7 Years specific knowledge of the technologies, products, and/or processes to be supported. 3 Years directly supporting those technologies, products, and/or processes. (may be concurrent)
