Our Internship Program provides undergraduate students with a structured and meaningful learning experience designed to prepare them for future careers and help them make informed decisions about their professional aspirations. This 10-week opportunity focuses on building foundational business knowledge while helping interns understand how to effectively operate and grow in a corporate environment. This opportunity is part of SEI's broader professional and leadership development continuum, designed to support early career talent as they explore potential career paths. While the internship does not guarantee full-time placement, it provides meaningful exposure to SEI's culture, ways of working, and development opportunities that may support future consideration for additional early career programs. Interns will work in a hybrid model from our corporate headquarters in Oaks, Pennsylvania. In addition to on-the-job experience, Interns can expect to:
Build foundational professional skills and strengthen business, industry, and technical acumen through a weekly seminar series Develop practical workplace capabilities through interactive sessions focused on how work gets done in a corporate environment Participate in an ondemand summer learning plan curated by our People Development team to support business knowledge and professional development Gain exposure to SEI's business, teams, and culture through handson experiences and group activities Receive regular coaching and guidance through onetoone sessions with the program manager to support professional growth and career exploration Connect with members of the broader SEI workforce through career story sessions and informal coffee chats Build meaningful relationships with fellow interns through several events held throughout the summer Receive a resume review and professional headshot to support future career opportunities
Qualities successful interns bring to SEI
Academic achievement in Business or Technology related fields of study such as finance, accounting, economics, marketing, computer science, or data analytics Leadership involvement in university or community organizations (e.g., charities, clubs, athletic teams, honor societies) A grade point average of 3.5 or above General awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and an interest in learning how AI can be used responsibly and effectively in a professional work environment Strong written and verbal communication skills A strong work ethic and sense of accountability Enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation Proactiveness and willingness to learn Thoughtful risk-taking and openness to feedback Professionalism, respect, and a collaborative mindset SEI's Professional Services team is focused on transforming businesses through tailored, data-driven strategies and hands-on execution. Professional Services Internship
Support client account initiatives by assisting with the coordination of ongoing activities and deliverables Assist in planning and organizing workstreams, including gathering inputs, tracking progress, and supporting timelines for professional services initiatives Act as a technofunctional liaison, helping bridge business needs with technology considerations such as system integration and cloud data concept Conduct industry and background research to inform project planning, client discussions, and internal decisionmaking Help prepare projectrelated presentations, status updates, and reports for internal teams and client engagements Support new business initiatives by coordinating inputs and materials for the Private Banking Professional Services team Coordinate across technology teams, sales, and relationship management to support aligned project execution Act as a point of support for internal stakeholders by facilitating communication and followups related to ongoing initiatives Support clear communication and followups across stakeholders to enable smooth project execution Contribute to a collaborative, crossfunctional delivery environment focused on client outcomes
Criteria
