Our Internship Program provides undergraduate students with a structured and meaningful learning experience designed to prepare them for future careers and help them make informed decisions about their professional aspirations. This 10-week opportunity focuses on building foundational business knowledge while helping interns understand how to effectively operate and grow in a corporate environment. This opportunity is part of SEI's broader professional and leadership development continuum, designed to support early career talent as they explore potential career paths. While the internship does not guarantee full-time placement, it provides meaningful exposure to SEI's culture, ways of working, and development opportunities that may support future consideration for additional early career programs. Within the expanding Alternative Operations segment of our Investment Manager Services division, we deliver comprehensive accounting and administration services to a wide range of alternative investment managers, including both hedge funds and private equity clients. Our dedicated and collaborative team is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the highest standards of quality to meet our clients' needs. IMS Alternative Investments Fund Accounting Intern:The Fund Accounting Intern supports the team in processing client information and transactions related to hedge and private equity funds. This internship offers hands-on experience in reviewing, analyzing, and entering client data, assisting with requests, and helping resolve processing issues. The intern will gain exposure to the Analyst role and learn how to provide accurate and value-added servicing to SEI's alternative clients. Assist with reviewing, analyzing, and entering client information and transactions into processing systems. Help identify and address basic processing issues to support the accurate completion of requests. Provide support in accounting and administrative tasks for assigned hedge and private equity funds. Help maintain official records for funds while learning about data accuracy and compliance requirements. Contribute to client servicing by proactively supporting process improvements and addressing client needs as guided by supervisors. In addition, you will assist with process efficiency projects by supporting initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows and improving operational effectiveness. Criteria:
