Summary:

This Medical Assistant will be based at the Mansfield Urgent Care Clinic and will be able to float to other UCC's to provide coverage as needed. The Medical Assistant will work under a physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s) to assist in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care as directed by provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Must skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established departmental policies and procedures. The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations.

Clinic Hours: 11am - 10pm, 7 days a week, Work hours are 40 hours per week and will vary and will require some weekend coverage.

Required Education, Certification & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited MA school (or) have a current MA Certification (National MA certification preferred).

  • Previous experience with vaccinations, pediatrics, or working in family practice or urgent care is preferred.

  • Patient-focused and strong customer service skills.

  • Current CPR certification required.
