Job Overview

The Senior, Performance Management designs, implements, and continuously improves enterprise performance routines. The role ensures practices such as goal setting, CheckIns, calibration, and annual performance reviews are effective, meaningful, and consistently applied across the organization, aligned to enterprise values and business priorities.

Reporting to the Director of Performance and Talent Management, the role blends program leadership, data analysis, influence, and independent strategysetting to shape, operate, and evolve performance practices. The role partners closely with HR Business Partners, HR Technology, and functional leaders, and delivers insights that inform seniorlevel leadership discussions.

What You Will Do

Strengthen performance conversations (Check Ins & Annual Performance Reviews)



  • Design and evolve a performance management approach that clarifies priorities, defines what good performance looks like, and connects individual work to team and enterprise outcomes.
  • Create a simple, intuitive user experience that reinforces clarity, progress, feedback, and growth through effective performance conversations, guidance, and examples.
  • Continuously gather input from leaders and colleagues to identify what's working and where improvements are needed.


Ensure a strong enterprise goal setting approach



  • Drive a simple, enterprise wide approach to goal setting that keeps teams focused on the work that matters most.
  • Provide guidance and examples that make goals clear, measurable, and aligned to company priorities.
  • Support leaders in translating enterprise priorities into team and individual goals, and strengthen accountability by enabling clear expectations and progress tracking.


Advance frontline performance strategies



  • Develop practical, scalable performance practices that support frontline teams and reinforce Rituals of Hospitality, productivity, and selling capabilities.
  • Design solutions that are easy for People Leaders to use every day, grounded in frontline feedback and real operational needs.


Turn performance data into enterprise insights



  • Use performance data to help leaders understand strengths, gaps, and next steps.
  • Leverage AI enabled tools to analyze data efficiently, identify patterns, and generate clear, compelling narratives.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve coaching, inform decisions, and connect performance outcomes to broader talent and development strategies.


Enable responsible AI adoption in performance practices



  • Deliver solutions and ways of working that use AI to improve efficiency and scale performance practices responsibly for leaders and colleagues.


Partner with HR Technology to deliver a best in class colleague experience



  • Collaborate on launches and enhancements within MyHR.
  • Identify friction points across the end to end experience and drive continuous improvement through process, resource, and system enhancements.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.


Skills You Will Need

Performance Management & Program Design: Expertise in designing, operating, and continuously improving enterprise performance routines, including goal setting, CheckIns, calibration, and annual performance reviews, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and business alignment.

Strategic & Systems Thinking: Ability to view performance management as an integrated system; connecting goals, feedback, development, data, and outcomes and independently set direction in complex, evolving environments.

ColleagueCentered Design & Simplification: Proven ability to design simple, intuitive performance experiences that are easy for leaders and colleagues to understand and use, reducing friction while increasing adoption and impact.

Data Driven Insights and Storytelling: Strong capability to translate performance and people data into clear insights, compelling narratives, and actionable recommendations that inform coaching, development, and talent decisions.

Problem Solving & Diagnostic Capability: Ability to quickly identify what is getting in the way of strong performance by synthesizing data, feedback, and business realities, simplifying complexity, and focusing on the highestimpact changes.

Influence & Stakeholder Partnership: Comfort operating across functions and levels, building alignment through credibility, clarity, and databacked recommendations in a matrixed organization.

Responsible AI Application: Curiosity and practical fluency in applying AIenabled tools to improve efficiency, insight quality, and scalability of performance practices, with strong judgment around responsible use.

HR Technology & Change Enablement: Experience partnering with HR Technology teams to deliver and enhance performance tools, identify endtoend friction points, and drive continuous improvement through process and system changes.

Executive Communication & Storytelling: Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior leaders, presenting complex performance insights in a decisionready, businessrelevant way.

ColleagueFirst Mindset: Ability to "speak colleague, not HR," bringing a practical, plainspoken approach that resonates with leaders and frontline teams alike.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
