The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Senior Program Analyst for the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) in Quantico, VA. This senior-level position requires extensive experience on a Marine Logistics Group (MLG) staff with a Combat Service Support occupational specialty.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze Lessons Learned related to sustainment operations, including distribution, supply chain management, and forward arming and refueling
  • Evaluate mobility operations Lessons Learned, including motor transport, embarkation, and expeditionary logistics
  • Assess maintenance operations Lessons Learned across ground equipment, motor transport, and ordnance maintenance
  • Analyze supply operations Lessons Learned, including Class I through Class IX supply management
  • Produce comprehensive logistics trend reports identifying systemic issues and best practices
  • Review Logistics Combat Element After Action Reports from exercises, deployments, and operations
  • Conduct interviews with logistics commanders, staff officers, and functional area experts
  • Synthesize complex logistics lessons across multiple Logistics Combat Element functional areas and echelons
  • Identify logistics capability gaps and recommend solutions to improve Marine Air-Ground Task Force sustainment (MAGTF)
  • Produce detailed Logistics Combat Element content for Marine Corps Center Lessons Learned formal reports and publications
  • Coordinate with Marine Logistics Group staff and subordinate units on Lessons Learned requirements
  • Support development of Logistics Combat Element training objectives and performance standards based on Lessons Learned analysis
  • Brief senior leadership on logistics trends, observations, and actionable recommendations
  • Mentor junior analysts on Logistics Command Element operations and logistics Lessons Learned collection methodologies
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of senior-level military logistics experience
  • Senior level experience (O-4 and above) on a Marine Logistics Group (MLG) or higher staff
  • Combat Service Support Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) required (preferably Logistics Officer 0402)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Marine Logistics Group organization, operations, and logistics planning
  • Experience across multiple Logistics Combat Element functional areas (supply, maintenance, transportation, general support) highly desirable
  • Knowledge of expeditionary logistics operations and distributed operations concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and patterns across large datasets
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to produce publication-quality reports
  • Experience conducting interviews and facilitating logistics after-action reviews
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and military logistics systems
  • Prior experience as a Senior Operations Analyst or in lessons learned operations desirable
  • Must be able to work onsite at Marine Corps Base Quantico facilities
  • May require extended hours during major exercises and training events
  • Occasional field visits to observe Logistics Combat Element operations during training events may be required
  • Moderate travel required to support MAGTF exercises, formal Lessons Learned collections, and coordination with Marine Logistics Group units at various Marine Corps installations
  • Ability to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing working environments and operational tempos

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
