Brand Marketing Lead

This is a contract, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Los Angeles, CA.

Summary

This role is responsible for stewarding and operationalizing a global brand system across digital, marketing, and business touchpoints. You will focus on brand governance, implementation, and scalability-ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment to support brand-led growth across a complex, global organization.

Our Ideal Candidate



  • 6-8+ years of experience in brand management, preferably within financial services or a highly regulated, enterprise environment
  • Passion for brand strategy and governance with a strong foundation in brand systems, implementation, and operational execution
  • Proficient in digital platforms, web environments, and design systems, with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Familiar with brand governance frameworks, content systems, and scalable digital implementation practices
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, web, compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and able to influence without direct authority

Job Description

In this role, you will own and steward the organization's global brand system, including visual and verbal identity, messaging frameworks, and tone of voice.

You'll partner with marketing, web, UX, design, compliance, and business teams to ensure brand standards are applied consistently across digital experiences, campaigns, and content. This includes developing and maintaining brand guidelines, templates, and tools, as well as managing brand governance across systems and platforms.

You will also lead brand-related projects end-to-end-managing timelines, stakeholders, dependencies, and approvals-while supporting global brand alignment across regions. Additionally, you will oversee agency and vendor partners, support internal brand adoption through training and resources, and monitor brand health to identify and address inconsistencies.

Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in brand management, digital marketing, design systems, or communications
  • Experience working within regulated or enterprise-scale organizations preferred

Additional Requirements



  • This opportunity is located in Los Angeles, CA and requires on-site work
  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $87.30 - $102.70 per hour
  • This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements
