Cryptographic Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cryptographic Systems Engineer to support the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure cryptographic systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise with General Dynamics cryptographic devices and strong knowledge of encryption technologies, key management, and secure communications infrastructure.

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain complex cryptographic systems supporting secure communications.
• Provide technical expertise on General Dynamics cryptographic devices, including configuration, operation, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cryptographic devices and secure communication systems.
• Support the integration of cryptographic technologies into enterprise networks and mission systems.
• Manage and support cryptographic device configurations using GEM Crypto Manager software.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to stakeholders and operational personnel on cryptographic systems and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to support system implementation and sustainment.
• Support key management processes, encryption protocols, and secure communications standards.
• Assist with system modernization initiatives and integration of next-generation cryptographic technologies.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrated experience with General Dynamics cryptographic devices, including:

  • E-100

  • FLEX

  • Micro

  • Nano

  • TL-IOG

  • TL-lg

  • Next-generation cryptographic devices

• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems.

• Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, encryption protocols, decryption processes, and key management technologies.

• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to cryptographic hardware and secure communications systems.

• Experience working with GEM Crypto Manager software.

• Experience providing technical guidance, support, and training to stakeholders and operational teams.

• Experience developing technical documentation and training materials.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and program stakeholders.
