OUC - The Reliable One Electric & Water Distribution division, is presently seeking a Revenue Assurance Field Investigator to join their team. We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated investigator to protect company assets and safeguard revenue integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and comfortable working both in the field and in collaboration with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will conduct audits, complete field inspections, and investigations into suspected utility theft, tampering, and equipment malfunctions. Salary Range: $27.15 - $33.94/hour (Equal to approximately $56,500.00 - $70,600.00 annually) Location: 5997 Pershing Ave, Orlando, FL 32822 USA Please see below a complete Job description for this position. Job Purpose: Conducts audits, field inspections, field investigations of suspected theft or reported activities related to utility tampering and malfunctions. Represents the company in civil and criminal matters aimed at identifying and stopping meter-to-cash revenue losses. Coordinates activities with various internal work groups and proactively interacts with outside agencies including law enforcement to secure company property and revenue and to meet department objectives. Operates equipment at elevated heights and on energized systems up to 600 volts (secondary voltage). Primary Functions:

Working Conditions: This job may involve exposure to wet, humid conditions (non-weather), outdoor weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat (non-weather), and insects. This job may involve risk of electrical shock and requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate and minimize the risk. This job is exposed to energized secondary conductor and attachments (under 600V) and occasionally exposed to energized primary conductors up to 35KV. This job occasionally requires working at heights (upwards of 35 ft). This job may occasionally involve working near moving mechanical parts, in high precarious places, or exposure to vibrations. The job may also involve wearing PPE such as breathing apparatus depending on field environmental conditions and exposure. Job requires completion of Revenue Assurance and Electric Meter Training with a passing score on written and/or field assessments within 6 months of being hired, in order to be issued Class 4 rubber gloves. Job requires annual re-certification, which includes a demonstration of required skills with the Electric Technical Trainer. Job also requires training on usage of the Extendo/Rosco Stick. Physical Requirements: This job requires sitting, standing, and walking, and may lift up to forty (40) pounds. This job may require bending/stooping, pushing, pulling, and/or digging, reaching over head, kneeling and/or crawling, and climbing (i.e. stairs, hills, ladders, etc.). This job requires speaking and hearing, reading, writing, typing, and detailed inspection. This job requires operation of a company vehicle. Job may require working overtime due to stand-by and call out work schedule; including prompt response to calls from local law or code enforcement agencies regarding reports of significant revenue leakage, potential criminal violations and/or public safety concerns.
