Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform all abdominal and small parts, OB, Gyn, and pediatric ultrasounds as well as invasive procedures.
  • Operate sonography equipment to produce images of specified areas of the body and perform related technical functions utilizing ultrasound imaging principles.
  • Demonstrate the technical skills necessary to provide outstanding image quality for all abdominal and small parts, OB /Gyn, and pediatric ultrasounds.
  • Exhibit knowledge and skills for providing imaging guidance during invasive procedures.
  • Perform imaging in accordance with recommended safe patient practices.
  • Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations.
  • Possess excellent critical thinking skills along with the ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and in intra- and inter-departmental situations.
  • Additional responsibilities as designated by the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) or ARDMS.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of related experience.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
