Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

  • Support the reliable operation and maintenance of liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.

  • Conduct minor inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize gas/chemical equipment performance.

  • Perform daily rounds to contribute to site safety and efficiency, including recording readings, monitoring systems, and facilitating gas/chemical container exchanges.

  • Develop a deep understanding of liquid bulk delivery procedures to support site-wide safety and quality.

  • Facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of bulk gas and chemical trailers.

  • Assess situations thoughtfully and collaborate with the team to find solutions when challenges arise.

  • Serve as an active contributor to the Emergency Response Team.

  • We look forward to supporting you as you complete the TGCM Tech 5 local OJT and qualification journey within your first 12 months.

  • Contribute to customer and Air Liquide community programs, including Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.

  • Partner in the growth of TGCM contractors by offering training support as needed.

  • Uphold our collective HS&E Standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone, including PPE and safety programs.

  • Contribute to the team's success by completing assigned tasks according to established procedures.

  • Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures to support product quality.

  • Dedicated to the safety of our team, our neighbors, and the general public surrounding our facilities.

Hazardous Waste Technician (at applicable operations locations):

  • Support the safe transfer of materials to the storage area by following established documentation and safety procedures.

  • Contribute to emergency preparedness and safe material handling by following our shared safety protocols for spills and container preparation.

  • Partner with the team on waste minimization initiatives and maintain a helpful understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GEDOR 5+ years of experience

  • 2-3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment

  • Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements

  • Electro-mechanical aptitude

  • Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions

  • Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules

  • Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 60 lbs

  • Ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day

  • Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)

  • Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)

  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
