Position: RPA Developer Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Operations/Systems & Analytics About the Role The RPA Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. This role partners business leaders, process owners, and our continuous improvement teams to identify automation opportunities, architect automation solutions, and deliver production-ready bots. The RPA Developer will lead the end-to-end automation lifecycle including process analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of RPA solutions. What You'll Do The RPA Developer partners with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and other key business stakeholders to analyze business processes and implement automation solutions that improve operational performance, accuracy, and scalability. This role works closely with process owners, business users and our continuous improvement team to ensure automation solutions meet organizational standards and deliver measurable results.
- Analyze complex business processes and workflows to identify automation opportunities and determine technical feasibility.
- Design and develop scalable RPA solutions using platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Lead the full lifecycle of RPA development including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, applications, databases, and APIs.
- Monitor both performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Implement enhancements and continuous improvements to existing automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize automation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure RPA solutions adhere to governance, security, and development best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including solution designs, bot workflows, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to business users and junior developers where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to expand automation capabilities and drive enterprise-wide process optimization initiatives.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in RPA development or automation engineering.
- Hands-on experience with RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, or similar automation technologies.
- Experience analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Strong experience working with data manipulation and analysis using Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data modeling, and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, databases, and scripting languages is preferred.
- Experience with process documentation, automation governance, and solution architecture best practices.
- Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards and reports that visualize automation performance metrics, operational KPIs, and process insights derived from automation workflows.
- Familiarity with data modeling, Power Query, and integrating data from multiple systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple automation initiatives and work independently with a collaborative environment.
