At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. A day in the life of a Radiological Control First Line Supervisor includes, but is not limited to:

* Provide direction, guidance, and oversight to bargaining unit Radiological Control Technicians (RCTs) in support of the 100K D4 End States Project.
* Assist in planning work and scheduling resources to implement appropriate radiological controls within work activities.
* Responsible for subordinate scheduling and timecards.
* Address bargaining unit concerns and grievances.
* Interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to safely and efficiently accomplish the mission in a safe and radiologically compliant manner.
* Ensures all work is performed within regulatory, radiological, quality assurance, engineering, and procedural requirements.
* Uses experience, discretion and judgment to evaluate within defined processes and procedures to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.


Basic Qualifications


Grade 19 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (may include journey-level craft), plus 6 years relevant experience.
Grade 20 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (may include journey-level craft), plus 8 years relevant experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience


Desired Qualifications


* National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists (NRRPT).
* Knowledge of DOE Radiological Control Manual and 10 CFR 835.
* Knowledge regarding the requirements/expectations of Voluntary Protection Program and the Integrated Environmental Safety and Health Management System.
* Experience working with multi-faceted disciplines and conflict resolution between organizations.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

Grade 19: $104,200 - $166,650
Grade 20: $114,700 - $183,450

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
