HRIS Specialist

The HRIS Specialist focuses primarily on Tier 1 technical support, data maintenance and project work related to implementations of the multi-landscape Human Resources Information Systems. This position is a Tier 1 regional expert and works closely with local Centers of Excellence (COEs) to test new releases and system enhancements, while analyzing and solving data issues and workflows for process improvement opportunities. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and must have a high collaborative work style, strong service orientation, and ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels across the
organization.

• Performs regular data review and focuses on accuracy to confirm data quality of all HR data entered by other system users
• Execute daytoday HRIS transactions in Workday, including new hire processing, position updates, organizational changes, and other movement-related activities across the organization.
• Support the local HR organization to optimize and streamline the system business processes and workflows; focus on increased efficiencies and improvement of HR related processes
• Work with HR experts on various system projects, testing, and problem resolutions
• Provide advisory and technical guidance to end users
• Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes
• Manage electronic personnel files and multi company-wide Outlook distribution lists
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, IT, or business-related field, preferred
• Minimum one to two (1-2) years of experience in Human Resources or HRIS, preferred
• Strong understanding of systems and data integrity; experience in Workday, preferred
• Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and be self-directed
• Ability to analyze, recommend improvements, and take initiative
• Ability to work with tight-deadlines and be multi-task oriented with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
