We are looking for a Long-Term Care Accelerator, South Central who is driven, accountable, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Neurology Patient Value Unit. This is a field-based position that requires up to 70% daily and overnight domestic travel and is designed to support Eastern Standard Time and Central Standard Time. This opportunity will cover the following states: Texas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan.
About the Role
You will act as the primary point of contact promoting and representing US Neurology brands within Long Term Care (LTC) and Intellectually & developmentally delayed (IDD) pharmacies, Medical Directors and facilities. In this role, your primary responsibility will be growing sales of UCB's product portfolio to a specific list of health care professionals and accounts by effectively communicating the approved product information and using available resources to support the appropriate utilization of our medicines.
Who you'll work with
Internally, you with work with pharmacies with the Long-Term Care team, Key Opinion Leaders, Market Access, the Neurology Brand Team, Regulatory, Compliance, Analytics and local/regional multidisciplinary teams. Externally, you will work with Medical Directors, Mid-levels, Pharmacies, National Pharmacy Accounts and Long Term Care Facilities (75% prescribers, 25% accounts).
What you'll do
- Serve as the lead point of contact for UCB to build high-impact relationships within the key account(s).
- Strengthen the promotion of UCB therapeutic options aligned with the appropriate patients in assigned accounts and territory through effective business relationships with key LTC and IDD Facilities.
- Support accounts that are prescribing US Neurology medications for appropriate patients by educating affiliated HCPs and personnel within the LTC and IDD channels on UCB access solutions.
- Increase awareness of UCB access solutions within the assigned health system accounts or ecosystem.
- Effectively sell, promote, and represent US Neurology brand(s) within assigned health system accounts and to affiliated HCPs and personnel.
- Providing non-brand specific disease state education in line with approved material to physicians, patient care coordinators, disease educators, nurses, discharge planners, physician assistants, patient education coordinators.
- Delivering value by efficient, effective, and coordinated stakeholder management by promoting the right therapeutic solution to the right patient at the right time.
- Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate pull-through to foster success across the local ecosystem(s).
Interested? For this position, you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
- Bachelors degree is required (Masters is preferred)
- Minimum 8-12+ years' experience calling on customers in a variety of call points (academic centers, Long Term Care/ Intellecually Developmentally Disabled facilities, private practices) is required
- Experience in a Long Term Care/Intellectually Developmentally Disabled pharmaceutical sales settings experience is preferred
- Experience with Neurology pharmaceutical sales is preferred
The reasonably anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000-$183,800 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
