Graphic Designer

Part-Time | Freelance

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid - Occasional Onsite)

Role Overview

A growing cargo marketing team within a major airline is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer for freelance, project-based support. This is a production-focused role supporting a small, fast-moving team responsible for maintaining and applying brand standards across a variety of print, digital, and web assets. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented, brand-savvy, and comfortable working independently on assigned projects with minimal direction.

Hours & Structure

This is a variable-hour freelance engagement. Hours will fluctuate week to week based on project volume - some weeks may be as few as 5 hours, others up to 40. There is no guaranteed minimum. Candidates are welcome to hold other part-time work simultaneously. Deadlines and availability will drive scheduling.

What You'll Do

*Resize and reformat existing brand assets for use across web, email, and digital advertising placements

*Apply established cargo brand standards across Airline Cargo co-brand markets

*Design production-ready materials including email templates, one-pagers, brochures, infographics, and advertorials

*Create trade show and event support materials such as pop-up banners and signage

*Support web content updates with branded graphics and visual layouts

*Collaborate with a creative writer, incoming agency partner, and internal web development resources

*Attend occasional in-person or virtual creative sessions, briefings, or war room-style working sessions

*Participate in a weekly check-in once the agency partner is onboarded

Required Skills & Experience

*Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator are must-haves

*Strong production design skills: resizing, reformatting, and applying brand guidelines across multiple asset types

*Experience creating both print and digital deliverables (web graphics, email assets, event materials, etc.)

*Ability to work independently on assigned projects with minimal oversight

*Strong portfolio demonstrating range across digital and print design

*Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Outlook, etc.)

*Strong attention to brand consistency and detail

Nice to Have

*Motion graphics or animation experience

*Web design skills or familiarity with web content production

*Experience working within a co-brand or multi-brand environment

*Background in airline, travel, or logistics industry

Location & Onsite Expectations

Seattle, WA preferred. Occasional onsite presence may be requested for creative sessions or team briefings at the Renton, WA cargo facility or agency partner locations. Day-to-day work does not require onsite presence. Candidates outside of Seattle will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
