Support Medica's Joint Venture partnership with SSM Health in Wisconsin, reporting to the Senior Director of Markets Finance. Serve as a key financial partner to JV leadership and external strategic partners.

Key Accountabilities



  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning across the full JV P&L
  • Produce financial reporting and close support, present results and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions
  • Evaluate financial impact of strategic initiatives (affordability programs, value-based care, vendor supported services)
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify trends and drive performance improvements


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent experience in related field
  • Experience in finance in healthcare, insurance or managed care
  • 8+ years of work experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working with capitated and value-based care models
  • Proven experience collecting and analyzing complex financial data
  • Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting processes
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience leading cross function initiatives to improve business performance
  • Ability to drive for results and accountability
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, or Madison, WI office, on average, 3 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $100,300 - $172,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $100,300 - $150,465. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
