Pay Rate: $18.50 - $30.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

These are the qualifications that matter.

• MasterCAM experience
• Prior tool making experience
• Able to read customer drawings and sketches
• Must be able to accurately measure using calipers, micrometers, surface table height gauges, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and gauge pins
• Manual and CNC background
• Working in an AS9100 environment is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and all manual tool room equipment to produce fixtures, gages or other work holding along with customer parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, CMM's, Optical Comparators, and other quality gages.
• Work with engineers and operators on various shop improvement projects.
• Help manage and improve the company's tooling and fixturing database.
• Utilize hand and machine tools for assemblies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs, etc.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to assist in both product design and design for manufacturing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools and fixtures.
• File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly.
