Senior Account Executive:

Echo's Intermodal Operations Department is seeking a passionate, self-starting professional to join our team as the role of Senior Account Executive. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our sales team and delivering top-tier service to Echo's clients by managing all aspects of their Intermodal shipping needs. You will maintain and update operating procedures when necessary, working closely with inter-departmental teams at Echo to ensure the book of business is positioned for success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Quote, book, dispatch, manage, and track all assigned shipments using Echo's propriety systems
  • Ensure all shipments are proactively booked and monitored for carrier on-time pickup and delivery
  • Schedule carrier pickup and delivery appointments according to client-specific needs and priorities
  • Confidently troubleshoot and resolve any issues such as missed pickups and late deliveries
  • Proactively communicate shipment updates and any potential issues to client sales teams
  • Communicate accessorial to internal client sales teams proactively to minimize financial impact to gross margin and revenue
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing, while notifying client sales teams promptly of any changes or adjustments
  • Follow and maintain established operating procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members daily to ensure coverage of loads is fulfilled
  • Become an expert in using Echo's proprietary technology to fulfill client requests
  • Support multiple sales representatives across various teams and managers
  • Have the ability to cross functionally cover multiple roles for individuals on the team while they are out of the office

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree with high GPA
  • 3+of customer service experience in a business services environmentor 2+ years internal Echooperations experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Calm under pressure
  • Superior business acumen
  • Knowledgeable on relevant modes of transportation
  • Team player mentality
