A Brief Overview
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and other internal and external clients who call the main Children's Hospital of Philadelphia phone line. Handles internal phone transfers and pages. Follows prescribed call procedures and qualitative measures in regards to efficient and accurate customer and call handling.

Locations: Home/Remote

Works:

  • First 90 days: Daytime shift (7am-5:30pm) and Midday (2p-12:30am) for training purposes.
  • Post Onboarding: 12:00am-10:30am (four 10 hours shifts, plus 1 weekend per month).

What you will do

  • Must be able to communicate clearly with a pleasant speaking voice when answering incoming calls & overhead paging.
  • Personable, resourceful, problem solving, supportive and helpful to callers whom include patients, patients families, CHOP employees and other external.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task using a variety of systems while following call handling procedures.
  • Works well within a team atmosphere
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to change based on needs of department.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • Associate's Degree - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year Working knowledge of call center systems such as Cisco Finesse. Working knowledge of Epic Medical Records system. Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer literacy required.
  • Good oral and written communications skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work from home with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated dependability.

SALARY RANGE:

$18.68 - $23.36 Hourly

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
