Business Intelligence & Workflow Automation Senior Analyst

First Merchants Bank is seeking an innovative visionary Business Intelligence & Workflow Automation Senior Analyst to join the HR Technology, Analytics, and Process Team! This position will support transformational projects and process improvements for Human Resources through analytics, automation, and data visualization.

As part of this role you will:

• Analyze HR business processes and reporting for automation or AI opportunities.
• Create and update visual process flow maps to accurately represent the movement and processing of information within low code applications like Power Automate.
• Configure and maintain analytics Power BI dashboards.
• Produce scripts to prepare, validate, and upload data into enterprise applications.
• Execute change control activities by coordinating, documenting, reviewing, and implementing changes in accordance with established change management standards to minimize operational risk and ensure business continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality as it relates to employee privacy, HIPAA and sensitive employee data.
• Stay current with emerging technologies.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of four (4) years of application/business/systems or reporting experience, or equivalent military experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL queries.

The following would be a plus:

• Proficiency in implementing Power Platform solutions
• AI (conditional logic, expressions)
• Co Pilot Studio
• Experience in data collection, analysis, or reporting
• Strong continuous improvement, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles
• Process improvement mindset
