We are seeking a highly motivated, execution-driven market access leader to lead our Market Access National Account Team. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing reimbursement strategies across the Lantheus portfolio to maintain access to the hospital setting of care... You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving business objectives. Strong business acumen and relationships with key senior stakeholders in these accounts will be critical for success in this role. This position plays a vital and strategic role within our market access team. S/he will be an ambassador for instilling our cultural values and it will also be the responsibility of this position to execute continued efforts towards long-term market planning to ensure long-term sustainability of the business and improve our marketplace leadership.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Build sustainable collaborations for health systems and key customers against shared priorities/common interests to deliver long-term value and drive portfolio growth through strategies designed to maintain or improve brand access.
  • Manage and coordinate resolution of reimbursement issues by collaborating with internal Lantheus teams and respective imaging center/hospital staff.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews of large population health accounts.
  • Drive brand growth and transition to new formulation through strategies designed to maintain or improve brand access.
  • Drive adoption of new products and new product launches through market access support and engagement
  • Build relationships with and implement market access strategies with key hospital and imaging center personnel.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to other Lantheus partners, sharing business insights into accounts and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross functional colleagues to pull through processes and policies established by payers.
  • Execute continued efforts towards strategic planning to ensure long-term sustainability of the business. Ensure processes, systems and projects meet Lantheus compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Leads cross functionally to ensure achievement of commercial objectives and assume accountability for organizational results. Proactively communicate with relevant internal stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and/or revise project deliverables which are identified for success.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into actionable strategic plans.
  • Demonstrate and employ the judgment, flexibility and situational leadership required to lead through complex combinations of market challenges, including business and organizational change necessitated by changes in the medical, regulatory, and business environment.
  • Champion and instill company and cultural values. Ensure initiatives align with Lantheus' culture and corporate goals.



CAPABILIITIES / COMPETENCIES



  • Contribute industry expertise to the development and execution of corporate strategic plan as appropriate; consistently demonstrates exceptional judgement.
  • Build and cultivate productive relationships with internal and external thought leaders, clinical and market KOLs, business leaders / organizations, alliance partners and colleagues that are essential to the success of Lantheus products and business at large.
  • Expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payer payment strategies for hospital outpatient care.
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas and information both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner to all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make enterprise-wide decisions and remain persistently focused on priorities.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Required:



  • 15+ years in positions of escalating scope and responsibility within regulated life sciences organizations or the equivalent
  • Proven track record building diverse teams in market access and field reimbursement focused on pull-through strategies with hospital accounts, academic centers, and Integrated Delivery Networks.
  • Demonstrated strategic influencing, communication, cross-functional, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Expertise in U.S. drug reimbursement and access (e.g., coverage, coding and payment) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop credible relationships at high levels within accounts to include Service Line and C-Suite personnel.
  • Works effectively in a team-based organization, collaborates cross-functionally, and builds alignment around key objectives at all levels.
  • Strategic planning, execution, and project-management along with excellent analytical and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to partner closely with market access strategy, payer marketing, and other field and home office roles across the organization to drive preferred access and coverage at assigned accounts.
  • Experience in oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics preferred.
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the US payer market; has experience with both Commercial and public payers and understands the decision-making process for new therapeutics and imaging agents within the payer community.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional working environment.
  • Extensive commercial experience with a solid record of achievement in either therapeutics or diagnostics, including launch experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and or medical device industry and hospital systems as well as federal, state, industry, company and customer compliance regulations and policy


OTHER REQUIREMENTS



  • Routine overnight travel based on business need and frequent weekend work may be required.
  • Valid driver's license

The pay range for this position is between $204,000 and $339,000 annually.

Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
