At Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world. We are seeking a Lead Commodity Manager to support our Direct Procurement organization within the Plastic Fabrication category.

The Role

Entegris is seeking a Lead, Commodity Manager to support Plastic Fabrication within Direct Procurement. This role is responsible for executing category strategies, leading supplier negotiations, and managing supplier performance for fabricated plastic components.

The Lead, Commodity Manager partners closely with Engineering, Operations, and Material Quality to drive cost competitiveness, ensure supply continuity, and support business growth through effective sourcing and supplier management.

What You'll Do

  • Execute category strategies for the assigned subcategory under Plastic Fabrication commodity - aligned with global sourcing direction, driving sourcing decisions that optimize cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and risk posture

  • Lead cost reduction and total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives across pricing, yield, and operational efficiency

  • Own RFQs, supplier selection, and complex commercial negotiations, including pricing models, indexation, tooling, capacity access, service levels, and contractual protections; negotiate and manage contracts and long-term agreements to ensure value realization and continuity of supply

  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, partnering with suppliers' technical and operations teams to understand manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and technology roadmaps

  • Manage supplier performance by identifying gaps and leading corrective actions in partnership with Material Quality and Operations

  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply, quality, capacity, financial, and compliance risks, including supporting qualification and development of alternate suppliers and processes to strengthen business continuity

  • Develop andmaintainrelationships with key internal stakeholders to drive financial and technical success in collaboration with key businessleaders

  • Provide clear, structured updates on subcategory performance, risks, and opportunities to Sourcing leadership and key stakeholders

What We Seek

  • Strong ability to translate sourcing direction into executable category plans

  • Demonstrated capability leading complex supplier negotiations and managing long-term commercial agreements successfully

  • Proven experience driving cost reduction and total cost of ownership improvements

  • An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals, and the capability to develop and nurture a wide array of internal and external relationships

  • Ability to build credibility and influence across Engineering, Operations and Quality

  • The capability to quickly understand complex engagements,identifycreative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outside partners

  • Comfort operating in a global, matrixed environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain roles supporting direct materials

  • Experience supporting fabricated plastic components, machining, or outsourced manufacturing is strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global suppliers and cross-regional sourcing environments

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, Ariba, and Power BI a plus

  • Exposure to technically complex or highly specified materials and components

  • Ability to speak Japenese a plus

  • Experience working in the semiconductor or other high-tech field

  • Technical background in part fabrication

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) is a plus.
