Description Seeking an experienced Manager of Operations to lead and support enterprise technology operations with a strong focus on server, storage, and systems infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a high-performing technical team, oversee major infrastructure projects, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations across a diverse computing environment. A key initiative for this position is a large-scale storage platform replacement, requiring strong technical depth, project leadership, and coordination across teams. Key Responsibilities * Lead, mentor, and manage a Systems Operations team supporting enterprise infrastructure. * Oversee daily operations for server, storage, and operating system platforms, ensuring high availability and performance. * Provide leadership for major projects, including storage platform replacement and modernization efforts. * Manage and prioritize multiple projects while balancing operational responsibilities. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, security teams, and vendors to align infrastructure solutions with business needs. * Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. * Assist with planning, budgeting, and lifecycle management of infrastructure assets. * Serve as a technical escalation point while remaining engaged in hands-on operational oversight. * Support a diverse end-user environment, including both PC and Mac platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Proven experience managing enterprise systems and infrastructure teams. * Server technologies * Enterprise storage platforms * Windows Server environments * AIX/UNIX systems * Experience leading or supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. * Working knowledge of IT security principles, controls, and best practices. * Ability to operate effectively across mixed computing environments (PC and Mac). * Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide technical staff. * Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Desired Skills and Experience * Experience in government or large enterprise IT environments. * Exposure to data center modernization or platform replacement initiatives. * Familiarity with IT service management practices and operational frameworks. * Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic planning and day-to-day operational tasks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
