Goldman Sachs Ayco Personal Financial Management partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce-leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees' financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

Wealth Strategies Group (WSG)

Goldman Sachs Ayco's Wealth Strategies group provides risk management solutions in support of advisors and clients across all segments of Goldman's Wealth Management business. We are on a journey to transform, modernize and scale the business, which currently generates over $1.4B of Life, Annuity and Long-Term care new business premiums on an annual basis. Our planning focused practice currently has 56 team members operating in 7 wealth management offices across the county.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Strategic Client Partnership & Oversight: Collaborate intimately with Wealth Advisors and their teams to provide sophisticated support for existing client relationships, encompassing comprehensive wealth strategies services, in-depth research, and continuous analysis and monitoring to optimize financial outcomes and ensure client success.
  • Expert Education & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert, educating account managers and financial planners on advanced insurance planning strategies. Partner strategically with Wealth Strategist and Annuity Marketing teams to develop and deliver impactful internal presentations on critical topics such as wealth transfer, income protection strategies, and product innovations.
  • Relationship Cultivation & Opportunity Generation: Proactively develop and cultivate existing client relationships to identify and capitalize on new Wealth Strategies Group (WSG)-related opportunities. Seamlessly complement regional Wealth Strategist and/or Annuity Marketing teams by actively pursuing and amplifying marketing efforts. Design, formulate, and implement bespoke wealth strategy plans tailored precisely to clients' unique needs and objectives.
  • Holistic Risk Management & Planning: Engage directly with account managers and clients to collaboratively identify, articulate, and address key objectives surrounding insurance planning and comprehensive risk management solutions, safeguarding client assets and future.
  • Revenue Generation & Goal Attainment: Drive significant revenue growth by consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious regional targets, thereby making a direct and substantial contribution to the overall departmental financial goals.
  • Client Experience Enhancement & Advocacy: Elevate the client experience by consistently delivering exemplary service standards, fostering deep trust, and ensuring unparalleled client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leadership & Talent Development: Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, serving as a mentor and role model for other associates. Partner strategically with senior management on key initiatives, actively contributing to the professional growth and development of Ayco Associates and strengthening team capabilities.



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • Academic Foundation: Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, providing a strong analytical and conceptual foundation for a career in financial services.
  • Essential Certifications & Licensing: Hold or be prepared to obtain within four months of joining the firm, active Series 7 or Series 6 licenses, underscoring your regulatory compliance and foundational securities knowledge. An active Life and Health Insurance license is also required within four months of joining, enabling comprehensive client advisory on insurance solutions.
  • Specialized Product Expertise: Bring 1-3 years of direct, hands-on experience with life insurance and annuity products, demonstrating a solid understanding of their features, benefits, and strategic application in comprehensive wealth planning and risk management.
  • Exceptional Communication & Client Engagement: Exhibit superior verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly, concisely, and persuasively to diverse audiences. Possess proven direct client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to cultivate and nurture robust professional relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Dynamic Work Ethic & Collaborative Spirit: Demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail, strong self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a dynamic team environment. Exhibit a proven capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Maintain strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word), leveraging these tools for efficient communication, sophisticated data analysis, and professional document creation.
  • Commitment to Excellence & Precision: Possess an unwavering commitment to accuracy, precision, and the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines without compromising the highest standards of quality and client service.
  • Industry Insight (Preferred): Prior experience within the financial services or human resources sectors is a distinct advantage, providing valuable context and industry insight.
