Scope of Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembler and Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling products, packaging orders, and ensuring timely and accurate shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position reports to Warehouse Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Escondido, California.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Assembler Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.

  • Inspect products for defects or missing parts before packaging.

  • Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report defects or discrepancies.

  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Shipping Clerk

  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipment packing slips and record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.

  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure proper handling of outbound shipments.

  • Complete and maintain accurate shipping and receiving reports.

  • Operate shipping software and coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.

  • Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.

  • Coordinate timely pick-up arrangements with carriers specified on the customer's purchase order for outbound shipments

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1- 2 years of experience.

  • Prior experience in assembly, shipping, or warehouse work is a plus.

  • Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments.

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with shipping software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.

  • Communicates information that requires some explanation and interpretation.

  • Ability to work under moderate supervision.

  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Escondido location in Escondido, California. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to push and pull up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.

  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

Pay Range:

The expected salary range for this position is $22.50 - $23.70 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law
