Pay Grade Range: $19.00 - $44.37 (This is a representation of the position's entire pay grade range. Starting pay is based on an individual's skills, experience, and at the discretion of the hiring team.)

Status: This is a fulltime; hourly position

Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday; overtime as needed

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing the duties needed pertaining to all of Coldspring's assets including, but not limited to, electrical infrastructure and machinery in all local and outlying facilities and quarries. This position is responsible for the design of small control panels, including but not limited to, pumps, fans, motor start/stop circuits, timers, etc. This position is also responsible for keeping accurate records of repairs and modifications made, promoting a positive and safe working environment.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • This position is responsible for the testing and troubleshooting of all Coldspring's assets.
  • Must have knowledge in panel building and design.
  • Must be able to design and draw schematics for new machinery building purposes to Coldspring's standards.
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance on all company assets.
  • This position is responsible for the troubleshooting of various makes and models of VFDs and must be able to replace them with a new version or model if the original one fails.
  • Must have above average troubleshooting and critical thinking skills in order to repair complex machinery including, but not limited to, PLC control systems, CNC control systems, and 5 axis machinery.
  • Must be proficient in various control sensors including, but not limited to, encoders, transducers, tachometers, 4-20 mA signals, 0-10 VDC signals, digital signals, etc.
  • Must be able to disassemble, move, and reassemble machinery to different locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and cranes according to work orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Must have proficient electrical aptitude and ability.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a sense of urgency.
  • Must exhibit above average problem solving, critical thinking, manual dexterity and communication skills.
  • Must exhibit great pride in neat and orderly work done.
  • Must have the ability to design and build an electrical control system in order to operate safely and efficiently.
