The Opportunity: We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Rapid Prototyping Technician to support the design and development of early-stage product concepts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and fabricating prototypes, models, and samples to support product design, development, and engineering teams. This role involves operating and maintaining a range of 3D printers including SLA, Polyjet, FDM, DMP, DLP What Your Impact Will Be:
What We're Looking For: Key Skills: * Attention to detail and precision. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Knowledge of geometrical dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Required: * Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field. * Proven experience in rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing operations). * 2+ years of hands-on experience in a prototyping or fabrication environment. * Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. 3DSprint, GrabCAD Print, Magics, Netfabb, 3Dexpert) and MS Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint,) * Familiarity with additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques. * Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. * Strong understanding of material properties and their applications in prototyping contexts. * Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with prototyping machines and processes.
