Position Summary: Job Responsibilities: Monitor and manage lot-controlled items within our third party-logistics network and internal systems, ensuring accurate selection, full traceability, and adherence to requirements. Lead item setup activitiesincluding item onboarding, routing, ordering parameters, and integration with internal systemswhile resolving setup defects and escalating issues as needed. Proactively identify and address potential or actual product disruptions within the third party-logistics distribution model; develop mitigation strategies, substitution options, and communication plans in partnership with operational and clinical stakeholders. Track expiration dates and surplus inventory within the third-party logistics network; coordinate product rotation, transfers, and utilization strategies to minimize waste and financial impact. Present data, insights, and recommendations to upper management in various forums and business reviews. Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external to meet goals and objectives. Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and accountability on high-cost purchasing decisions and troubleshooting any issues. Report on key performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend areas for operational improvement. Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training modules to support consistent daily execution. Participate in special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as needed in support of supply chain operations. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
