What Makes You a Fit

• 4 years of experience operating forging equipment or heavy industrial machinery.
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, part drawings, and die setup sheets.
• Skilled in using basic measurement and inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. and work in a hot, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate forging machines such as upsetters, headers, or presses.
• Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
• Install and align dies, tooling, punches, and guides according to production requirements.
• Heat material to the proper forging temperature using induction heaters, gas furnaces, or electric heating systems.
• Monitor forging cycles, machine timing, and material feed to ensure proper part formation.
• Load bars, cut lengths, or raw stock into the machine, ensuring proper lubrication and positioning.
