What you'll do:

SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to team members with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement for company's various product lines including, but not limited to,Walk-in Van and Truck Bodies

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and organizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitoring production processes and equipment to identify and resolve issues that could impact production schedules.
  • Ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that employees are trained and equipped to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to production staff, including providing coaching and feedback to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Collaborating with other departments, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure that production operations run smoothly.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and reports, including inventory levels, quality control measures, and production output.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Ensuring that products meet quality standards and customer requirements, including conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions.
  • Managing production staff, including scheduling shifts, hiring and training employees, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Communicating regularly with management to provide updates on production schedules, staffing needs, and performance metrics

What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate or Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership skills required (vehicle assembly line experience in a leadership role preferred)
  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management
  • Strong communication skills, verbal
    and written
