Brief Description: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales strategies, budgets, and sales personnel for their assigned district. This position is also responsible for selling MS Directional products and services to the existing customer base as well as potential new customers; developing and maintaining sales-focused relationships with appropriate customer and potential customer contacts; working collaboratively with Operations to understand activity levels, utilization and other factors impacting the area for which they are responsible. This position will work under the direction of the Vice President of Sales in the MS Directional (MSD) organization. Detailed Description:
Accomplish regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning and scheduling employees Lead, manage and develop direct reports, ensuring communication and compliance with company policies and setting measurable goals consistent with vision of organization Planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions and compensation action Work with Company's headquarter office in Conroe, Texas to develop the market for Company's products and services Assist with development of sales forecasts, budgets and long-term strategies and short-term tactical marketing plans Determine sales targets and pricing strategies that balance market share and profit objectives Develop a strategy for the assigned accounts, to ensure pursuit of business for all services with consistent messaging to decision makers, and optimized, strategic pricing Negotiate sales contracts Develop an appropriate marketing communications plan and associated collateral materials Gather intelligence on future plans and current needs, and how they measure success Ensure systematic delivery and resolution of customer inquiries, customer information, or information about customer satisfaction, to the appropriate MSD personnel/departments Develop new prospects and strengthen relationships with existing customers, to increase sales, products, and/or services Assess the potential application of Company products or services and, offer solutions that meet customer needs Keep well-informed on current industry trends, opportunities, products and competitive issues Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows and professional organizations as appropriate Prepare written reports, cost benefit analysis, solution-oriented presentations, and sales and price quotations, to compete for customer business Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment where employees of all backgrounds feel included and their contributions are valued Make employment decisions in a manner consistent with all Company policies, including the Company's Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment Policy Promptly address and resolve concerns and disputes among team members, with the goal of building a stronger, more cohesive work group Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 3+ years business development experience Eligible to meet requirements to drive on Company business

Additional Details: Variable work hours include regular after-hours, weekend and holiday commitments as well as regular travel within and outside assigned region. The Region Sales Manager must work with an emphasis and prioritization to maintain a professional attitude when interacting with all Company and customer representatives. Must be able to work closely with others and manage customer interaction in a professional manner.
