Position Details: Part-Time Program Hours: Mon-Fri: 6:30AM-9:00AM and 2:45PM-6:00PM (may vary slightly) We are looking for candidates who are available to work all five days for the entirety of the listed shift. Afternoon hours may be available on an as needed basis in a substitute capacity Pay Range- $15-$18 per hour (based on education and experience) Location: Candidates should be open to any of the schools we partner with in the Lemont School District. We cannot accommodate location preferences as our openings are based on the needs of our programs. Start Date: ASAP Required: At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED At least six months of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting (preferred) You'll drive the mission by: Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability. Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program's objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages. Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management. Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations. Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
