Are you a seasoned survey professional who excels in the field, thrives on leading teams, and takes pride in delivering precise, reliable data? Do you enjoy balancing hands on fieldwork with leadership, coordination, and problem solving across complex project environments?

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Field Crew Supervisor to join our Survey Geospatial Team in Georgetown, TX, where you will oversee multiple field crews and play a key role in delivering highquality survey solutions that support transportation and infrastructure projects across growing communities. This role is ideal for an experienced field leader who brings deep technical expertise, strong judgment, and a commitment to mentoring and operational excellence.



What You'll Do:

    Lead and coordinate multiple survey field crews, ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality field operations
  • Support project delivery through scheduling, quality control, and coordination with project managers and office staff
  • Perform and oversee record research, construction stakeout, and boundary, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys using GPS, total stations, and data collectors
  • Provide technical direction to field teams, resolving complex survey challenges and ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Mentor, train, and develop field staff while promoting strong safety practices and professional growth
  • Review field notes, sketches, and computations, and oversee maintenance of survey equipment and vehicles


What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience required
  • Proficient knowledge of surveying principles, field procedures, and industry standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast paced field environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally with clients and the public
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain while carrying equipment
  • Ability to travel short-term required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • NSPS CST Level III certification, LSIT, or PLS preferred

Salary Range:

$42.00 - $45.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
