Position Summary:

The Wire Transfers Payment Associate is responsible for processing, monitoring, and reconciling wire transfer transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. This role supports all clients by processing wires transfers, researching transaction discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with OFAC, Travel Rule, and bank policies. The ideal candidate has strong diligence, excellent critical thinking skills, and a solid understanding of wire transfer payment systems.

This position will report to the Director of Digital Banking Operations.

Standard 4-day in-office requirement, 1 day remote (of your choosing). Additionally, there are weekly shifts for this role where you will be assigned each of the below shifts for a one week period:

8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm & 11am-7pm

Essential duties and responsibilities:



  • Accurately and efficiently process both incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
  • Perform fraud monitoring verification for outgoing wires.
  • Review and clear OFAC hits in wire system.
  • Perform daily wire transfer reconciliation.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries timely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of all wire transfer transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with OFAC, Travel Rule, banking regulations, and internal policies related to wire transfers processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to wire transfers processing and compliance.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing and process improvements to enhance wire transfer operations.
  • Process ACH transactions when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.


Required knowledge, skills and experience:



  • At least 3 years of banking experience, in wire transfer processing, electronic payments or banking operations.
  • Ability to research and resolve issues related to wire transfers.
  • Strong knowledge of OFAC, Travel Rules, federal banking regulation and payment processing procedures
  • Ability to operate banking software and other general office equipment.
  • Able to work with minimal direction, demonstrate initiative-taking problem-solving ability, deal with time pressures and changing priorities.
  • Driven by a passion and curiosity to continuously learn how various technological systems, including AI, can enhance the work that you do


Preferred knowledge, skills and experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field of banking or finance.


Potential Salary: $70,000- $75,000 annually

This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law.
