Communications Intern Picture yourself at HDR. We offer vast opportunities for an aspiring communications professional. Our teams design solutions to some of the world's greatest challenges in areas like water, power and energy, transportation, health, education, defense and intelligence, and urban and community development. To support these efforts, our Communications team is responsible for driving employee engagement and culture, promoting and protecting HDR's brand, and facilitating the flow of business-critical information. For our communications intern position, we want somebody skilled in writing, visual communication and bringing together the components of a multi-channel campaign. You must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team to complete tasks. Strong organization and time management are required. Primary duties will include storytelling through written features and videos, choosing and gathering assets to support communication campaigns, and evaluating tactics to best reach internal and external audiences.
