Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: This position provides Engineering support within the Quality team.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Quality Problem Solving: Containment of WIP and Stock, root cause of investigation, processing of defective product. Defect verification, DMR initiation and review. Communication with department supervisors about escapes.
  • Floor Support Team II QA Member: Support team with work on quality, scrap, cost reduction and improvement projects. Daily QA support for manufacturing area.
  • MRB Level II Management: Review and disposition of MRB product.
  • Data Analyst: Monthly update of Metrics Board, monthly reporting on customer claims and returns. General requests for data pertaining to product quality (as needed). Report on QA action for team meetings.
  • Source Inspection (Back Up): Mechanical inspection for FAIs. PWA delegated quality rep.
  • Audits: Daily floor audits, ISO internal audit support.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Associate's Degree is preferred in Quality Assurance and/or Business
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Powerpoint/Word/Excel).
