Job Description Income Tax Senior Accountant 212 W 2nd St, Winona, MN 55987 HEADD Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Income Tax Senior Accountant, you will enjoy the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced work environment focusing on a variety of accounting and tax processes. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Developing and training others to achieve goals and to optimize business results o Leading transfer pricing planning, analysis, and documentation activities o Reviewing and preparing quarterly and annual income tax provision schedules while working with outside tax advisors o Monitoring and approving estimated income tax calculations and payments o Preparing income tax schedules and tax return filings o Coordinating income tax return preparation activities o Reviewing income tax returns prepared by external tax advisors o Analyzing and calculating return to provision adjustments o Managing income tax examination activities o Reviewing tax related reconciliations o Performing monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting procedures o Coordinating and participating in development projects, including planning, testing, and implementation o Completing special projects and other administrative tasks as needed REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a degree in Accounting o Possess at least 2 years of accounting work experience o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PeopleSoft o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Comply with the Federal Contractor Vaccine Mandate through vaccination or approved exemption prior to the start of employment (applicable in the US ONLY) o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers. COMPENSATION: The base pay range for this position is $50,000 - 62,500. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission. | |
