The Carpentry Supervisor directs daily operations of the Carpentry and Paint Shops in support of safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations. The position supervises union trades personnel and contracted service providers performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement work across Laboratory facilities. The Supervisor leads a multi-disciplinary Carpentry Crew executing upgrades, alterations, and maintenance projects under Facilities Project Manager direction. Responsibilities include maintaining building integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity while minimizing impacts to research activities. This role collaborates with Facilities leadership, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Project Management, Security Services, and other operational groups to support facility readiness and infrastructure reliability. * Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in commercial carpentry, facilities management, or construction environments. Physical and Operational Requirements
* Ability to respond to facility emergencies.
