Responsibilities

Job Summary The Director of Facilities Management at HonorHealth is a multi-campus director that provides executive leadership and strategic direction for all physical plant operations, regulatory compliance, capital infrastructure planning and execution, and physical environment readiness for your assigned medical campuses and/or sites. Ensures compliance with all enterprise initiatives. Essential Functions
  • Develops and drives all facility operations, engineering programs, compliance and related capital improvements.Helps spearhead long-term facility plans aligned with enterprise strategies.
  • Responsible for ensuring stakeholder engagement, effective department communication, and minimal to no disruption to operations.
  • Direct oversight and accountability for all regulatory readiness and policy compliance.
  • Advocates for local facility needs.
  • Available to support off-hours needs and requirements of the facilities as required.
  • Develops and Leads initiatives to improve the physical environment.
  • Prepares, executes and monitors multiple departmental operating and capital budgets.
  • Evaluates expense variance against budget and takes corrective action which includes timeline of completion to achieve budget expectations.
  • Continually seeks ways to improve quality, increase utilization and decrease cost of services through process improvement tools and activities.
  • Develop and recommends policies, procedures and programs to ensure the effective operation of the department.
  • Establishes departmental performance goals consistent and aligned with HonorHealth, assigned campus, and enterprise department goals.
  • Develops, implements and tracks department performance indicators and maintains department balanced scorecards.
  • Implements strategies to determine long range plans for delivery programs, facilities, equipment, and staff.
  • Offers continuous assessment, improvement, and maintenance of the quality of service.
  • Achieves balanced scorecard and customer service goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and/or experience is acceptable.- Required
Experience
  • 10 years' experience in facilities management and regulatory compliance.- Required
  • Advanced proficiency in environmental and regulatory standards. - Required
  • Proficiency inregulatory and governing bodies such as NFPA, CMS, DNV, AHJ's, ADEQ.- Required
  • Proficiency in Starc ICRA, NFPA, and NFPA 241 standards.- Required
  • Enhanced collaboration skills with peers.Proven leadership and strategic planning skills.Extensive experience in supervising capital improvement and renovation projects.Strong mentorship abilities.- Required
License and Certifications
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) - Preferred
